Q. What are your Refill pages made from?
A. Most of our Refill pages are made from Polypropylene which is a chemically inert substance, suitable for long term archival storage of all your images, slides, CDs and other collectables, and has been tested safe by the Image Permanent Institute in Rochester, USA.
Q. Are any of your Refills made from PVC?
A. Only the Peel and Stick, self adhesive page code RA104. Otherwise we only use polypropylene which is photo-friendly and acid-free to ensure long-term archival protection.
Q. What is wrong with PVC?
A. PVC (polyvinyl chloride) can, over time, react with your photos changing the colours, it cannot prevent your photos from fading and can even damage the surface of your prints. For a safe alternative use Arrowfile archival pages made from Polypropylene.
Q. Do all Ringbinder Albums come with Refill pages automatically?
A. No, we have provided several Special Kits especially within the CD-DVD Category where the albums contain several Refill pages to start you off using the Arrowfile System, but the Ringbinder Albums and Refills are designed to be purchased separately in order to fulfil individual requirements.
Q. Can I buy Albums without Refill pages?

Q. What Refills fit which Albums?
A. Most Arrowfile Refills fit most Arrowfile Albums except for the following wider pages RE1523, RE8456, RE2430, RE922M, RE920M, REMM4A and Premier Refills which will only fit in Arch ring albums, F165, F164 and F108BLA. CD-DVD Refills such as 0CD2 and 0CD44 only fit CD-DVD Albums. Maximus Refills only fit Maximus Albums. Compact Refills only fit Compact Albums. Q. Are there any CD Refills which fit 4-ring Arrowfile Albums?
A. Yes, RA1410C, RA1410B, RA1425C, RACD006, RADVD002, RB1430H and RB1435H all fit Arrowfile Albums and will not fit in the 3-ring CD-DVD Albums. Also click here to see more information on Product Type Compatibility.
Q. What are Memo title inserts?
A. These are small pieces of card or paper which can be written on to help caption each photo and can be inserted into the pockets of the Refills for a permanent record of each photo without having to damage them by writing on the back.
Q. How many Refills can I fit in each Ringbinder Album?
A. This depends on the Album in question and how thick the contents of the Refills are. As a general rule of thumb, for thin items such as negs or photos you should be able to fit 60-70 Refills in a standard Arrowfile Album, Compact albums hold 20 or 40 refills depending on the thickness of the album and CD/DVD Albums hold 20 Refills.
Q. How do I index my prints?
A. You can purchase self-adhesive page numbers, spine labels, quick-find index sheets, CD index sheets, index tabs and dividers and many other useful items from the Indexing Category.
Q. Do you do Refills for every size of photo?
A. That is a difficult question to answer at the moment as with digital prints there are so many new sizes coming on to the market it is difficult to keep pace. For pocket -type refills the answer is we try, and are constantly commissioning new pages to meet the needs of our customers. If you have a particular size that you canít find anywhere, please do not hesitate to contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org. However you can use the "Freesize" range of Refill pages which can accomodate any size or shape up to A4 size, and for larger sizes we do a range of Portfolio Refills up to A1 size.
Q. Are your stamps pages acid-free?
A. Yes all of our stamps Refill pages are acid-free archival quality and will protect your stamps for future generations.
Q. What is CD-Rot?
A. This can happen to your CD/DVDs if you do not store them carefully. For more information click here
Q. How long will it take before I get my order?
A. This will depend on the service you have chosen. Please see the Delivery Charges section for both UK and Overseas, where delivery times and charges are detailed. You will find this in the Customer Service Section, which you will find under Company.
Q. What happens if the goods received are damaged or faulty?
A. If you are not satisfied for any reason whatsoever, simply return within 30 days and we will refund your money or replace your goods.
